Macht euch bereit, Marvel-Fans! Marvel Rivals von NetEase Games öffnet seine Türen für einen geschlossenen Betatest auf PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S und Steam. Dies folgt auf eine erfolgreiche geschlossene Alpha auf dem PC im Mai. Die Beta läuft von Ende Juli bis Anfang August und bietet einen Vorgeschmack auf die intensiven 6v6-Marvel-Superheldenkämpfe.

Diese neueste Beta erweitert die Alpha und führt neue spielbare Charaktere wie Adam Warlock und Venom sowie eine neue Karte ein: Tokio 2099: Spider-Islands. Ein spezielles Scarlet Spider-Kostüm für Spider-Man erwartet PS5-Beta-Teilnehmer bei der vollständigen Veröffentlichung des Spiels.

Konsolenspieler (PS5 und Xbox Series X/S) können sich über einen kurzen Fragebogen für die Beta anmelden. PC-Spieler (Steam) können das Spiel einfach auf ihre Wunschliste setzen, um am Auswahlprozess teilzunehmen. Ausgewählte Teilnehmer erhalten E-Mail-Benachrichtigungen. Die Beta beginnt am 23. Juli um 18:00 Uhr ET (15:00 Uhr PT) und endet am 5. August um 3:00 Uhr ET (12:00 Uhr PT). Steam-Benutzer können ab dem 20. Juli Zugriff beantragen.

Die Beta steht Spielern in Nordamerika, Europa und Asien offen und ein Hauptaugenmerk wird auf dem Testen der Cross-Play-Funktionalität liegen. Während die Teilnehmerzahlen noch nicht bekannt gegeben werden, werden Konsolenspieler aufgefordert, sich zeitnah anzumelden, um ihre Chancen zu erhöhen.
