Der finnische Spieleentwickler Supercell hat eine überraschende Ankündigung gemacht. Nach der Absage ihres Rollenspiels Clash Heroes haben sie ein neues Projekt enthüllt: Project R.I.S.E. Dies ist nicht einfach eine Wiederbelebung, sondern eine völlige Neuinterpretation.

Clash Heroes wird offiziell eingestellt. Sein Kernkonzept wird jedoch als Project R.I.S.E. wiedergeboren, ein Multiplayer-Action-RPG-Roguelite, das im bekannten Clash-Universum spielt.

Projekt R.I.S.E. teilt die DNA mit Clash Heroes, ist aber ein völlig neues Spiel. Es handelt sich um ein soziales Action-Roguelite-Rollenspiel, bei dem sich Spieler in Dreiergruppen zusammenschließen, um den Turm zu erobern. Bei jedem Spieldurchgang gibt es eine andere Etage und das Ziel besteht darin, so weit wie möglich aufzusteigen. Im Gegensatz zum Solo-PvE-Fokus seines Vorgängers bietet Project R.I.S.E. legt Wert auf kooperatives Gameplay mit verschiedenen Charakteren.

Derzeit in der Pre-Alpha, dem ersten Spieltest für Project R.I.S.E. ist für Anfang Juli 2024 geplant. Die Registrierung für eine Teilnahmechance ist auf der offiziellen Website möglich.
