Un ancien employé de Repawn Entertainment a révélé sur son profil LinkedIn qu'un projet inopiné avait été annulé après plusieurs années de développement. Aucune raison de l'annulation n'a été donnée.

L'année dernière, le journaliste Jeff Grubb a rapporté que le projet n'était pas une entrée principale Titanfall , excluant Titanfall 3 . RAPAWN a réuni une «équipe expérimentale» dédiée de spécialistes de tir multijoueurs pour le développer.

Ce n'est pas le premier projet de réapparition à être annulé. Un tireur d'arcade a nommé Titanfall Legends a été fermé l'année dernière.

La série Titanfall est célébrée pour son mélange unique d'action rapide et de combat de mech, permettant aux joueurs de se battre en pilotes agiles ou en titans puissants.
