VHR offre une expérience de course passionnante avec 12 conducteurs uniques, chacun pilotant un véhicule distinct, dans 12 environnements divers allant de Baytona Beach à Frostbite Harbour. Les joueurs peuvent rivaliser en solo, participer à des championnats ou participer à un multijoueur à écran partagé à quatre joueurs (confirmé pour Steam, Mobile Confraction en attente). Un mode d'essai de temps ajoute une couche supplémentaire de défi compétitif.
