How to play Çanak Okey.

The offline Okey game is designed for 4 players. In Çanak Okey, you can use a cue stick to arrange your tiles.

Çanak Okey tiles come in four colors: Red, Black, Yellow, and Blue.

Tiles are numbered from 1 to 13.

There are also two false okey tiles in the game.

Çanak Okey uses a total of 106 tiles.

At the start, all tiles are shuffled and dealt automatically. The player next to the dealer receives 15 tiles; the others receive 14 each.

Players arrange their tiles using the cue and group them into sets or runs.

Undealt tiles remain in the center of the table.

The tile revealed face-up in the middle is the indicator tile.

The tile matching the indicator's color and number becomes the Okey tile.

In Çanak Okey, the Okey tile can substitute for any other tile.

If you finish by discarding the Okey tile (throwing okey), your points are doubled.

Standard tile formations in Çanak Okey:

Players group their tiles into sets of at least three. There are two valid formations.

The first is a sequence of same-colored tiles in numerical order.

The second is a group of the same number in different colors.

Pairs formation in Çanak Okey:

Arrange all tiles into pairs. When you have seven pairs, discard your final tile to the center to win the hand.

Indicator rule in Çanak Okey:

At the start of a new game, the player whose turn it is must reveal if they hold the indicator tile. If it matches the Okey's color, no penalty; otherwise, 2 points are deducted.

Finishing a hand in Çanak Okey:

A normal finish (without Okey) results in a standard win. If the final discard is Okey-colored, other players lose 4 points; otherwise, they lose 2.

Finishing with seven pairs deducts 4 points from each opponent.

A color finish – all tiles the same color in sequence from 1 to 13 – reduces all other players' scores to zero and ends the game.

If all tiles are the same color but not in sequence, opponents lose 8 points each.
