During the Bank of America’s 2024 Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference, CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels highlighted the sequel as a top priority for the company, stating (as reported by Variety) that it represents "a significant growth contribution" to their future plans. He projected the sequel's release for "a couple of years down the road."

Warner Bros. Games' David Haddad previously emphasized the game's remarkable replayability as a key factor in its success. In an earlier interview with Variety, Haddad noted the high number of players who revisited the game multiple times.
