FFXIV Mobile: Immerse Yourself in Eorzea on the Go

Final Fantasy XIV is officially coming to mobile devices, bringing years of content to players on the go. Developed by Tencent's Lightspeed Studios in collaboration with Square Enix, this mobile version will allow players to explore the world of Eorzea anytime, anywhere.

The announcement ends months of speculation and confirms the mobile adaptation of the critically acclaimed MMORPG. Initially launched in 2012 to a mixed reception, Final Fantasy XIV underwent a significant overhaul ("A Realm Reborn") which revitalized the game and cemented its place as a flagship title for Square Enix.

The mobile version promises a substantial amount of content at launch, including nine playable jobs and the return of popular minigames like Triple Triad. The Armoury system will allow players to seamlessly switch between jobs.
