How to Play 101 Çanak Okey

101 Çanak Okey, when played offline, typically involves four players. The game pieces come in four colors: Red, Black, Yellow, and Blue, numbered from 1 to 13. Additionally, there are two fake Okeys, making a total of 106 stones in play.

At the start, all stones are mixed and automatically distributed among the players. The player next to the distributor receives 22 stones, while the others get 21. Each player sorts their stones into pairs or groups based on cues. The stones not distributed are placed in the middle of the table, and the stone turned face-up is the indicator stone. The Okey stone, which matches the color and number of the indicator stone, can replace any stone in the game. Finishing with an Okey stone doubles your points.

In the normal sequence, players arrange their stones into groups of at least three, either in series of the same color or in sets of the same number across different colors. To finish, a player must form seven pairs and drag the last stone to the center of the table. A normal finish, where the last stone thrown is not an Okey, results in a deduction of 101 points from the finisher.
