Unleash your creativity with **ArtClash**—a unique platform designed to inspire daily practice in drawing, sketching, and cartooning. Unlike Sketchbook, Photoshop, Procreate, or Infinite Painter, ArtClash offers a fresh approach to artistic expression and community engagement. This project, crafted by a solo developer for his wife and fellow art enthusiasts, is in early access with more exciting features on the horizon.

**ArtClash** encourages you to dive into your creative process, whether you choose to free draw or tackle specific topics with optional constraints like time limits, color restrictions, or canvas sizes. Earn points as others guess your creations correctly, turning your artistic journey into a fun, competitive experience.

Current Features:

• Paint: Sketch, paint, and blend to your heart's content.
• Import Images: Use them as references or paint directly over them.
• Topics and Constraints: Select from various difficulty levels and constraints to challenge yourself and earn points.
• Difficulty Levels: Choose from six levels, ranging from simple single words to complex combinations of up to five different words.
• Constraints: Opt for time, color, or canvas size limits to boost your score.
• Free Drawing: Unleash your imagination and share your creations with the community.
• NSFW Flag: Control your viewing experience with an option to see or avoid NSFW content.

Early Access Issues and Bugs:

• Ugly UI: The current Unity UI is challenging and will soon be replaced with XAML for improved responsiveness and aesthetics.
• Performance: Keep canvases under 1024x1024 on lower-end devices to maintain performance. The GPU-accelerated brush engine may slow down with large canvases and small brushes. We're exploring other engines to enhance speed.

Upcoming Features:

• New Games: Starting with a "telephone" game featuring drawings.
• Social Enhancements: Custom avatars, comments on projects, friend and follow options to enrich community interaction.
• Improved UI and Brush Engine: Addressing current bugs for a smoother experience.
• Editing Tools: Marquee selection and transform tools for precise control.
• Brushes: More options and the ability to add and share custom brushes.
• Layer System: Enhanced with features like locking transparent pixels and masking.
• Developer Communication: A feedback system for feature requests, bug reports, and community voting.
• Moderators: Community members can become moderators to manage flagged content and maintain a safe environment.

• Future Developments: Full image editing, animation, scripting, and game/storyboard prototyping to transform ArtClash into a comprehensive creative suite.

While ArtClash is not yet a full image editing suite due to performance limitations with large textures and the absence of certain editing features, it is currently optimized for social competition and encouragement.
