Application Description

Ayushman is the official mobile app developed by the Government of India, designed to revolutionize healthcare access for millions. The app is a key component of the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), which is a flagship initiative aimed at providing cashless secondary and tertiary care treatment. This service is available at empanelled public and private hospitals, ensuring coverage for over 10 crore poor and vulnerable beneficiary families across the nation.

The National Health Authority (NHA) serves as the apex body tasked with the implementation of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY. Through the Ayushman app, beneficiaries can create their "Ayushman card," a crucial step towards accessing free treatment up to INR 5 Lakhs. This digital tool empowers users by simplifying the process of obtaining healthcare services.

We are excited to announce the launch of this official mobile application, which is now available for beneficiaries and other stakeholders. The app enables users to independently access their "Ayushman card," streamlining the process of healthcare service utilization. In the near future, beneficiaries will also be able to avail other benefits provided by PM-JAY through this platform.
