Firaxis Games enthüllte die Roadmap nach dem Start für Sid Meiers Zivilisation VII während eines kürzlichen Livestreams. Teil zwei (Ende März) fügt die Führer Simon Bolivar und die Zivilisationen der Bulgarien und der nepalesischen Nerven hinzu. Der freie Inhalt im März umfasst das Natural Wonder Battle Event und das Bermuda Triangle Natural Wonder (Anfang März), gefolgt vom Marvelous Mountains Event und Mount Everest Natural Wonder (Ende März).

Weitere bezahlte Inhalte, die richtige Regelsammlung, ist für den Sommer 2025 geplant und bringt zwei neue Führungskräfte, vier neue Zivilisationen und vier neue Weltwunder. Zusätzliche kostenlose Inhalte und Updates sind von April bis September geplant. Firaxis verspricht ab Oktober 2025 weiter nach dem Start. Spezifische Veröffentlichungsdaten müssen noch bekannt gegeben werden.
