The roadmap details substantial updates planned throughout 2025, including several DLC pack collections featuring new Leaders, Civilizations, and Natural Wonders. Alongside paid DLC, free content will be released via patches and events.

The first paid DLC, the Crossroads of the World Collection, is a two-part release. Part two (late March) adds Leader Simon Bolivar and the Bulgaria and Nepal civilizations. Free content in March includes the Natural Wonder Battle event and Bermuda Triangle Natural Wonder (early March), followed by the Marvelous Mountains event and Mount Everest Natural Wonder (late March).

Further paid content, the Right Rule Collection, is slated for summer 2025, bringing two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four New World Wonders. Additional free content and updates are planned from April through September. Firaxis promises continued post-launch support from October 2025 onward. Specific release dates are yet to be announced.
