- Valhalla Survival kicks off summer with its July update
- The new Abyss difficulty arrives, featuring Mythic equipment to discover
- Also debuting is the Lightning Chain skill and a weekly guild mission system
As summer peaks, Lionheart Studios' Valhalla Survival delivers another major release late in the season. Chapter seven, Niflheim, launches alongside numerous updates designed to keep fans engaged throughout the summer months!
Although it's a seasonal update, don't expect beaches or bikinis here. Instead, you'll venture into Niflheim, a mist-shrouded realm of ice and cold that offers a stark contrast to sunny resorts.
The environment is just as dangerous as ever, featuring the new Abyss difficulty mode. More challenging than Nightmare mode, it requires players to have completed stage 30 in Chapter Three. However, the stakes are higher: defeat enemies here to gather materials for crafting ultra-powerful Mythic equipment.

Chillingly powerful
While Niflheim is known for its cold and mist rather than summer heat, this update offers plenty to enjoy even from a sandy beach. The new Lightning Chain skill allows you to unleash a linked attack using electric orbs and beams, dealing massive damage while slowing enemy movement.
One of the most anticipated additions, the common skill Lightning Chain, is now live. It fires linked attacks combining electric orbs and beams; monsters struck by the orbs or caught in the beams suffer immediate damage and reduced mobility.
Additionally, a new weekly guild mission system has arrived, offering rewards such as items and the Tome of Fortune to boost your active and passive skills. Complementing this is the Skill Enhancement System, which allows you to upgrade skills obtained through Nightmare stages or exploration.
