Romancing Saga Re: Le serveur mondial de l'Univers se ferme le 2 décembre 2024. Bien que la version japonaise se poursuit, cela marque la fin du voyage mondial qui a commencé en juin 2020.

À l'approche de la fermeture de décembre, les achats en jeu de bijoux et de points de jeu Google ont déjà cessé après la maintenance du 29 septembre 2024.

Malgré des visuels époustouflants, une bande sonore captivante et un généreux système de gacha, la version mondiale a reçu une réception de joueurs mixtes. Contrairement à son homologue japonais populaire, la version mondiale manquait de mises à jour de contenu importantes telles que Solistia et les mises à niveau des unités 6 étoiles - un contenu disponible au Japon pendant près d'un an. Cette disparité de contenu a contribué à l'insatisfaction des joueurs et a finalement influencé le sort du jeu.
