Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, this marks the end of the global journey that began in June 2020.
Two Months Remain
With the December shutdown approaching, in-game purchases of jewels and Google Play Points exchanges have already ceased following the September 29th, 2024 maintenance.
Despite stunning visuals, a captivating soundtrack, and a generous gacha system, the global version received mixed player reception. Unlike its popular Japanese counterpart, the global release lacked significant content updates such as Solistia and 6-star unit upgrades—content available in Japan for nearly a year. This content disparity contributed to player dissatisfaction and ultimately influenced the game's fate.
Your Thoughts?
Square Enix has closed several titles this year, including Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and two Dragon Quest mobile games, adding Romancing SaGa Re:universe (global) to the list.
This turn-based RPG, based on the classic SaGa series, offers players two more months to enjoy its gameplay. Whether you're a longtime fan or a curious newcomer, download it from the Google Play Store and experience the world of Romancing SaGa Re:universe before its global servers close.
