Using the App and Same Sensor Scanner

It's important to understand that signals from the sensor can be sent either to the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner or to your phone, but not both simultaneously. To receive signals on your phone, you must activate the sensor through the app. Conversely, to receive signals on the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner, you need to activate the sensor using the scanner. If you've activated the sensor with the scanner, you can still scan it with your phone.

Note that the app and scanner do not communicate with each other. To ensure you have complete data for your reports, scan the sensor with the device you're using every 8 hours. Otherwise, your reports may lack essential data. You can download and view data from all your devices at LibreView.com.
