Lawnchair Legacy is a mature version of the Lawnchair launcher, based on the Android 9 Launcher3 codebase. It is currently in maintenance mode, where updates are limited to critical fixes related to the Google Play Store and security enhancements.

Please note that this version of Lawnchair does not officially support Android 10.

Lawnchair utilizes the AccessibilityService permission to optionally enhance the accessibility of certain system functions, such as desktop gestures for actions like turning off the screen. You will be prompted to enable this service if it's required for your setup, though it's not necessary for many users. Rest assured, no data is collected through this service; it's solely used to execute system actions.

Additionally, Lawnchair can use the Device Administrator permission to lock the screen when a specific gesture is detected. This feature is optional and disabled by default, giving you control over its use.
