Razer's highly anticipated 2025 lineup of gaming laptops, the Razer Blade 16 and Razer Blade 18, are now available exclusively at Razer.com and Razer stores. These cutting-edge devices are set to begin shipping as early as late April. The Razer Blade 16 comes in multiple configurations, starting at $2,999.99 for the RTX 5070 Ti model, $3,499.99 for the RTX 5080, and $4,499.99 for the top-tier RTX 5090. Unfortunately, the Razer Blade 18 is currently out of stock.
Razer Blade laptops are renowned for their exceptional build quality. Crafted from a single piece of aluminum, these laptops boast a remarkably thin and light design for their category. Razer achieves this sleek profile through its proprietary cooling technology, featuring a vacuum-sealed, liquid-filled copper vapor chamber that efficiently dissipates heat. Similar to the engineering prowess seen in Apple MacBook Pros, Razer Blades justify their premium pricing with top-notch craftsmanship and performance.

Upgrade options are available, allowing you to enhance the memory to 64GB and the internal storage to 2TB. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 is designed for power efficiency while delivering robust gaming and workstation capabilities, now enhanced with the XDNA 2 NPU for AI applications. Opting for the HX 370 model provides a trade-off between power efficiency and higher clock speeds for superior performance.

The Razer Blade 18, built on an Intel platform, features the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, which prioritizes performance over the efficiency-focused Core Ultra 9 185H. This model includes an 18" Dual UHD+ display capable of switching between 240Hz at UHD+ and 440Hz at FHD+, RTX 5070 Ti graphics, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD for $3,499.99. Upgrades to the RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 are available.
Our benchmarks confirm that the RTX 5090 is the new pinnacle of mobile GPUs, though its performance increase over the RTX 4090 is modest, ranging from 5% to 10%. However, with the integration of DLSS 4, the performance gap becomes more noticeable.
**RTX 5090 Mobile Review by Jacqueline Thomas**
"If you already own a capable gaming laptop, the RTX 5090 might not be worth the upgrade. Its improvements over the last generation are marginal, but if you're in the market for a high-end gaming laptop, features like multi-frame generation and battery boost make Nvidia's latest GPUs a compelling choice."
Dell unveiled the much-anticipated Alienware Area-51 gaming laptop at CES 2025, and it's now available for order. Available in 16" and 18" variants, starting at $3,199.99 and $3,399.99 respectively, these laptops feature the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and NVIDIA Blackwell GPU. Orders are set to ship out starting April 30, so act fast to avoid any delays.
