Get ready for an enchanting twist in the world of AFK Journey! The game is gearing up for its very first crossover, and it's none other than with the beloved Japanese manga series, Fairy Tail, created by Hiro Mashima. This magical collaboration is set to bring a new level of excitement to the game.
The crossover event is set to introduce two of Fairy Tail's most iconic characters: Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. Both characters will be joining the ranks of the new Dimensional faction in AFK Journey.
Natsu Dragneel, known for his fiery spirit, is confirmed to be an S-level character. His high-tier status reflects his powerful 'burn everything to the ground' attitude. Meanwhile, Lucy Heartfilia will come in at an A-level, making her more accessible to players. Although their specific roles and classes are still under wraps, the introduction of these special characters is sure to add a thrilling dimension to the game. It will be fascinating to see how they integrate with existing factions and whether they'll shake up the meta.
Mark your calendars! The AFK Journey x Fairy Tail collaboration is scheduled to launch on Android on May 1st, 2025. While the duration of the crossover event remains undisclosed, the developers have released an exciting trailer that you can check out below:
Unlike its predecessor, AFK Arena, AFK Journey offers a 3D open-world RPG experience. The inclusion of Fairy Tail characters in 3D, rather than the traditional flat anime-style images, is a feature that players are sure to appreciate.
Currently, AFK Journey is running an event called Justice Descends, where you can meet the new Celestial Hero, Athalia, and collect Stellar Crystals and Temporal Essences. Additionally, the Dawnlight Revelry event is underway, offering even more rewards. Don't miss out on these opportunities—check out AFK Journey on the Google Play Store.
