The creators of Atomfall have unveiled an extended gameplay trailer that provides an in-depth look at the game's immersive world and key features. The video showcases the game's unique retro-futuristic setting, which is a quarantine zone in northern England following a nuclear power plant disaster in 1962.
In Atomfall, players are tasked with navigating this dangerous environment while uncovering hidden secrets through exploration and engaging dialogues with a variety of colorful NPCs. The game's protagonist is intentionally left without a predefined identity, enhancing player immersion and allowing for personalized interactions.
