Becoming a Hollow in the Hollow Era

You begin as a Soul Spirit, facing a crucial choice: Shinigami or Hollow. To become a Hollow, simply break the links on your chain. Don't worry about actively breaking them; a link breaks automatically every two minutes, guaranteeing your transformation within minutes.

Warning: While Hollows are visually striking, the path to power requires significant grinding. The journey to Vasto Lorde or Espada demands patience and persistence through repetitive tasks.

Hollow Progression in the Hollow Era

Your first major transformation is into a Gillian. This requires relentless grinding—killing Hollows and consuming their remains. Reaching level 15 triggers this evolution. However, at level 10, you unlock access to Hueco Mundo via a Garganta, significantly easing the hunting process.

Gillian Form in the Hollow Era

As a Gillian, continue eliminating Hollows and interacting with Hollow Pillars in Hueco Mundo. Accumulate enough Progression Points to be transported to your inner world, where you must defeat five increasingly challenging Hollows three times to evolve into an Adjucha.

From here, you branch into either Vasto Lorde or Arrancar paths.

Arrancar Progression

To become an Arrancar, interact with a Crystal Bush (spawning every 30-60 minutes in Hueco Mundo). This grants you Hueco Mundo teleportation and access to Kendo skills. At level 50, you can pursue your Resurrección.

Vasto Lorde Progression
