Diablo 4 Reveals New Consumables Coming in Season 5

New information about Diablo 4 has been discovered, and it says that the game will get new consumables in Season 5. The Public Test Realm (PTR), Diablo 4's test server, was opened this week for players to test the features coming in Season 5. And with the return of the PTR, new information about Diablo 4 Season 5 is gradually coming to light.

Consumables are items that, when used, replenish elements or provide temporary buffs to Diablo 4 players. Consumables are obtained by killing monsters, opening chests or crests, or buying them from Diablo 4 merchants. Consumables are divided into healing potions, to replenish characters' health, elixirs, which provide effects such as increased armor, and incense, which increases maximum life or elemental resistance. For Season 5, Diablo 4 players can expect more exciting news in this department.

Wowhead has revealed that Diablo 4 will introduce four new consumables in Season 5. Antipathy is a rare anointment that will increase players' resistance, Blackblood is a common anointment that will improve a random core stat, Vitriol is a magical anointment that will increase damage over time, and Triune Anointment Cache will be a new cache with anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials. While there are ideal consumables for Diablo 4 classes, the new items will be specific to the Infernal Hordes mode. In addition, Diablo 4 will bring the recipes for the anointments, hinting that they can be crafted.

New Consumables for Diablo 4 Season 5

Season 5 holds great news, such as the debut of a new endgame mode for Diablo 4 players. Called Infernal Hordes, this mode promises to deliver a roguelite experience in which Diablo 4 players will battle waves of enemies. Each wave will last 90 seconds, and once Diablo 4 players have defeated all the enemies, they will have to choose between three modifiers that will alter the run. As Diablo 4 players might expect, the higher the difficulty of the Infernal Hordes, the better the rewards.

The Infernal Hordes mode will have an item called Abyssal Scrolls to increase the challenge, similar to how the Profane Mindcage Elixir works in Helltides. As for the new consumables, it's important to note that currently not much is known about the items. With the PTR being available until July 2, Diablo 4 players wait to find out new details about the consumables like how to get them, the cost of using them, and even what materials will be needed to craft the anointments.
