In *R.E.P.O.*, a cooperative horror game, your mission is to retrieve valuable items and survive amidst a host of monsters that spawn randomly across different locations. Successfully escaping with your loot not only means you've outwitted the lurking threats but also earns you rewards from the game's menacing AI, the Taxman. These rewards, in the form of hard-earned cash, allow you to stock up on essential survival gear.
To secure your valuable items, you must locate and reach the Extraction Point where your C.A.R.T. of treasures is assessed, and the Taxman decides your fate. With enough cash, you can proceed to the Service Station, ready to spend on much-needed supplies.
As you advance in *R.E.P.O.*, mastering the extraction process becomes routine. What initially feels daunting soon turns into a manageable task as you tackle more levels and confront increasingly challenging monsters.
How to Extract in R.E.P.O.
In your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll find a single Extraction Point. As you progress to new locations, this can increase up to a maximum of four points. Keep an eye on the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen to monitor how many drop-offs you need to complete, and how many you've already managed.

At the start of each level, the first Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck. This position remains constant, ensuring you always know where to return your initial haul of valuables. Subsequent extractions, however, become more challenging.
After dropping off your first C.A.R.T., navigate the level as usual. The Taxman's demands and the location of subsequent Extraction Points will be unknown until you reach the relevant area. This is when your in-game map becomes invaluable. By pressing "Tab" on your keyboard, you can view unexplored areas, helping you plan routes and, if playing with others, coordinate to cover more ground simultaneously.

The next Extraction Point's location becomes clear only when you're in its vicinity, either through visual cues or distinct sounds. Once found, press the prominent red button to check if you've gathered enough items. If you have, place your C.A.R.T. within the designated grey area to ensure no items are destroyed.
After completing the required number of extractions, you'll either move on to the next point or make a perilous journey back to the truck. Remember, after the final Extraction Point, you don't need to return the C.A.R.T. to the truck; a new one will be available at the next location or level.
