"Fixing Dice in Citizen Sleeper 2: A Guide"

Apr 27,2025 Author: Lucy

While navigating the engaging world of *Citizen Sleeper 2*, it's almost inevitable that your dice will suffer some wear and tear. In this guide, we'll delve into the mechanics of repairing your dice, ensuring you can continue rolling effectively throughout your adventure.

Why Dice Break in Citizen Sleeper 2

The primary culprit behind dice breaking in *Citizen Sleeper 2* is Stress. As you progress through the game, you'll accumulate stress, particularly when you fail actions or find yourself in a "Starving" state. The more stress you accumulate, the higher the likelihood that your dice will break. Each die can withstand three hits before requiring repair.

How to Repair Dice in Citizen Sleeper 2

An image showing the dice repair screen in Citizen Sleeper 2 as a guide to how to repair them.Although you might experience dice breakage early on while you're on Hexport, you won't have the means to repair them until you reach Far Spindle. Here, you'll encounter a character named Bliss, who will unlock the Rig Workshop on your ship. When you're not engaged in a Contract, you can visit the Rig Workshop to repair your dice. You'll have two options: Improvised Repairs and Dice Repair.

What’s the Difference Between Improvised Repairs and Dice Repair?

Improvised Repair requires 2 Scrap Components. This option will mend one of your dice, but it increases the Glitch meter, heightening the risk of ending up with a glitched die.

On the other hand, Dice Repair demands 1 Rare Component. These are scarcer but result in a lesser increase to the Glitch meter. If you have the resources, opting for Dice Repair is generally advisable. However, I found that using Improvised Repair didn't pose significant issues. As you approach the endgame in *Citizen Sleeper 2*, acquiring Rare Components becomes easier, so there's less need to be overly conservative with them.

Can You Repair Glitched Dice?

Occasionally, depending on your chosen difficulty, you might end up with glitched dice, which offer a mere 20 percent chance of a positive outcome and an 80 percent chance of a negative one. While there's no straightforward method to repair these dice in the game, certain narrative developments, particularly following the "Diagnose Your Frame" drive, will repair one glitched die. So, don't lose hope!

And there you have it—that's how you go about repairing your dice in *Citizen Sleeper 2* to keep your gameplay smooth and enjoyable.
