Fun Dog Studios has just rolled out a major update for their extraction-survival game, *The Forever Winter*, which is currently in early access. Dubbed "The Descent to Averno is Easy," this patch brings a slew of changes that significantly enhance both the depth of gameplay and the overall player experience.

One of the standout updates is the revamped water system. No longer is water consumed in real-time; it now acts as a currency for accessing different regions within the game. The cost to enter these regions fluctuates daily, adding a strategic layer to your planning. Players can even trade water with teammates before matches start, which introduces new tactical considerations. As a result of this change, the distribution of quest rewards and resources across the map has been adjusted.
