Many games suffer from optimization issues at launch, which are often resolved through subsequent patches. However, *FragPunk* has been remarkably smooth since its debut. While there's always room for improvement in terms of frame rates, here are the optimal *FragPunk* settings and crosshair codes to enhance your gameplay experience.
FragPunk Settings Overview

The settings in *FragPunk* are organized into five tabs. While most settings outside the Video tab focus on quality-of-life and accessibility, they can still enhance your gameplay. We'll highlight the settings you should adjust, but feel free to leave others at their default values or tweak them to your liking.
General
The General tab contains settings that enhance your gameplay experience based on personal preferences. Experiment with different options to find what suits you best. Here are some recommended changes:
- Automatic Climbing – On
- Automatic Sprint – On
- Camera Shake During Sprint – Off
- FOV Sprint Scaling – On
- Flash Eye Guarding – On
- Keep Player Centered – On
- Minimap Orientation Rotate – On
- Performance Metrics – On
- Ping Visibility – 1
- Hide Overly Visible Skin Components from Enemies – On
This tab also includes options for creating your crosshair, which we'll discuss later.
Keyboard/Controller
These tabs allow you to customize your key bindings. With Automatic Sprint enabled, you can repurpose the Shift key for walking, aligning it with common settings in tactical shooters like *VALORANT* and *CS2*.
Sensitivity
Sensitivity settings are highly personal. You may want to experiment or use online calculators to convert settings from other games like *VALORANT* or *CS2*.
Audio
For the best audio experience, set the Sound Effects volume to a comfortable level, and reduce the Music, Announcer, and Button Volume. Enable Character Voice Simplification to minimize unnecessary character chatter. Voice Chat settings are up to your preference.
