Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden is a crucial area within your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline. Not only is it essential for progressing through the narrative, but it also serves as a safe haven for farming resources, offering a less hazardous alternative to operations.

Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, and the process of locating each one remains consistent across different levels. Below, we'll guide you on how to find any Cell Garden and explain their mechanics for resource farming.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who wants you to investigate a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block on Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, look to the left corner of the block where you'll spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you encountered Enzo.

Upon arriving at 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will take you to 2-G100. The final step involves using the device in the far room of 2-G100, which will lead you directly to the Cell Garden.

This path to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. To streamline your travel, consider unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement, which significantly reduces the time spent navigating to the Cell Garden. After completing the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you'll have the freedom to visit it or any other Cell Garden at your convenience. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.

Each device that transports you to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making them easy to identify.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's mechanics differ between the main story mission and regular visits. Here's how it functions outside of the main quest:

  • You're allotted one minute before being automatically ejected.
  • The room's layout changes with each visit, keeping the experience fresh and challenging.
  • Eight resources, depicted as small green orbs, are scattered across the room for you to collect.

To extend your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades are crucial, especially when dealing with layouts that include more complex puzzles. The first upgrade, available at CODE level 3, extends your stay to two minutes, allowing for more efficient resource gathering.
