The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is set to launch in the Fall of 2025. This release will be exclusive to next-generation consoles, specifically the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Take-Two Interactive's fiscal year 2024 financial report. Fans of last-gen consoles will have to wait longer, as GTA 6 will not be available on those platforms at launch. Moreover, PC gamers will also need to hold off, as the game will not be released on PC initially. While the exact release time remains undisclosed, rest assured that we'll keep you updated with any new developments.
Rumors have circulated suggesting a potential delay pushing the release from late 2025 to 2026. However, Take-Two has firmly stated their commitment to the Fall 2025 window, emphasizing their dedication to delivering an unparalleled gaming experience on time.
For those hoping to enjoy GTA 6 through a subscription service, it's important to note that the game will not be included in the Xbox Game Pass lineup at launch.
