Pokemon Day 2025 may have passed, but The Pokemon Company continues to delight its fans with new events. In *Pokemon GO*, a new event called Might and Mastery is now live, introducing the beloved Wushu Pokemon, Kubfu. Since its debut in the *Pokemon Sword and Shield* DLC, players have eagerly awaited Kubfu and its evolution, Urshifu, to make their way into *Pokemon GO*. Now, with the Might and Mastery event, players can finally add Kubfu to their collection by completing a few simple tasks.

To catch Kubfu, head over to the Special Research tab in *Pokemon GO* and look for the "Might and Mastery" section. Here's a breakdown of the tasks you'll need to complete:
| Research Task | Reward |
| Explore 3 km | 15 Poke Balls |
| Defeat 3 Team GO Rocket members | 5 Revives |
| Use a super effective Charged Attack | Use a super effective Charged Attack |
Once you've completed these tasks, Kubfu will appear, and you'll earn 891 XP upon adding it to your collection. Remember, the Special Research for Kubfu is available only until Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 AM local time, so don't miss out on this opportunity.
For those looking to catch more than one Kubfu, *Pokemon GO* offers the Paid Special Research – Fuzzy Fighter pass for $8. This pass unlocks additional tasks and the chance to encounter a second Kubfu, along with other rewards:
The Fuzzy Fighter pass is available for purchase until March 10, 2025, at 10 AM local time. Once purchased, the tasks remain available, giving you more time to complete them at your own pace.
While Kubfu is undeniably adorable, many players are keen to evolve it into Urshifu. Currently, it seems that evolving Kubfu into Urshifu isn't possible in *Pokemon GO*. However, given that Urshifu appears in the loading screen for the Might and Mastery event, there's a good chance that this feature will be added in the future.
That's everything you need to know about getting Kubfu in *Pokemon GO*. For more, check out the free item promo codes available in March 2025. *Pokemon GO* is available now on mobile devices.
