⚫︎ According to Bloomberg, Warner Bros. Discovery has canceled a planned expansion for Hogwarts Legacy as part of a broader restructuring, citing concerns over content value. The expansion was meant to be part of a Definitive Edition
this year, developed by Avalanche Software with assistance from Rocksteady Studios. Although the expansion has been canceled, a sequel is still in development.

Interactive president David Haddad discussed the tremendous success of Hogwarts Legacy, highlighting how the game enabled fans to fully engage with the Harry Potter universe. At the time of the interview, players had brewed 819 million potions, rescued 593 million magical beasts, and defeated 4.9 billion dark wizards. Haddad also confirmed plans for additional Harry Potter games, including Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which was in beta, and hinted at more projects in development.
