This week, the developers behind InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before heading off, project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim took the time to share exciting updates on the much-anticipated features requested by fans, detailing which ones will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will soon be able to harness the power of real facial capture technology to create templates for their zois. This feature, which was highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further streamlined, as emphasized by Kjun. The aim is to make the process of creating zois as simple and user-friendly as possible.

While the excitement builds, fans will have to wait a bit longer to introduce their own pets into the game, as this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Kjun, an animal lover himself, assures that this addition is on the horizon, promising a delightful experience for pet enthusiasts.

The game's world will feature impressively tall buildings, but with a cap at 30 floors. This decision was made to optimize performance, despite the game engine's capability to support higher constructions. It's a thoughtful balance between aesthetics and smooth gameplay.

For those looking for action, InZOI will include gas stations and engaging combat scenarios. Responding to feedback from early previews where the slap mechanic felt too superficial, Kjun has ensured the game now features more comprehensive fights, complete with clear winners and losers, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

Understanding that many newcomers might be trying out the genre for the first time, the developers have included a tutorial in InZOI. This thoughtful addition showcases their commitment to making the game accessible and enjoyable for all players, earning well-deserved praise for their consideration.

As of now, Krafton is set to launch InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays expected. Fans and newcomers alike can look forward to diving into this innovative game with its eagerly awaited features.
