Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

As you gear up for the Sweet Discoveries event, Pokémon Go is sharpening its blades for the upcoming Crown Clash event, and the timing couldn’t be more regal. From May 10th to 18th, you’ll have the opportunity to evolve the formidable Kingambit, adorn yourself with crowns, and collect a bounty of shiny Pokémon, all while earning bonus XP just for evolving.

Kingambit, the Big Blade Pokémon, will make its much-anticipated debut during the Crown Clash event in Pokémon Go. To add this powerhouse to your team, you’ll need to evolve Bisharp, but here’s the catch: Bisharp must be your buddy, and you'll need to defeat 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. Bisharp doesn’t need to do the fighting—just bring it along and tally those victories.

Adding to the excitement, two new costumed Pokémon will join the fray – Nidoqueen and Nidoking, both decked out in shiny new crowns. If luck is on your side, you might even encounter their Shiny versions. These regal Pokémon will also star in three-star raids, while the one-star lineup includes Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.

Keep an eye on the wild as well, where you’ll spot frequent spawns like Slowpoke (which may yield a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, if fortune smiles upon you.
