One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, is known for its fast-paced, brutal action games set in cyberpunk worlds. Ghostrunner's success, with average critic and player scores of 81%/79% and 80%/76% respectively for the first and second installments, highlights the studio's skill in creating challenging yet rewarding gameplay experiences where precision, agility, and quick reactions are key. Today, One More Level revealed a new image hinting at their upcoming project, Cyber Slash. While the studio is currently developing two games—Cyber Slash and Project Swift (slated for a 2028 release)—the newly released image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash transports players to the first half of the 19th century, offering a dark and epic reimagining of the Napoleonic era. Expect a thrilling narrative featuring legendary heroes battling unknown forces and confronting terrifying threats.

Gameplay will be challenging and action-packed, diverging from the classic Souls-like formula. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain core mechanics, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique progression element.
