Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown kicked off Season 1 as the first new map to be released. Designed for the Convoy mode, players are tasked with either escorting or stopping a moving payload across the map. The Sanctum Santorum map is a stunning depiction of Doctor Strange's mystical abode, first introduced in a 1963 comic and famously featured in the MCU. Scheduled for release in the latter half of Season 1, the Central Park map remains shrouded in mystery. Set in Manhattan's famous park between the Upper West Side and Upper East Side, Central Park has been a staple in various Marvel media, most recently in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
In Marvel Rivals, the Central Park map will likely revolve around the iconic Belvedere Castle, a Gothic architectural gem located at one of the park's highest points. This setting aligns perfectly with the Empire of Eternal Night theme and could serve as a strategic hideout for Dracula within New York City.
