Top duelists in Marvel Rivals rely on strong primary attacks. Mister Fantastic’s Stretch Punch delivers. Though lacking a secondary attack, it’s highly versatile, featuring a three-strike combo. The first two strikes use one fist; the final uses both hands.
Its versatility lies in early punch deployment, where the stretched arm damages any enemy it contacts. This enables multiple area-of-effect strikes with just the primary attack. Like Storm’s piercing Wind Blade, it can hit multiple foes.
Mister Fantastic boasts a range of abilities to master in matches. Players should test them in the training room, as each builds toward a passive that boosts damage. When fully charged, this passive becomes a formidable force. Beyond abilities, key stats like health are critical.
With 350 base health, Mister Fantastic uses shields for surprising duelist durability. Players should monitor Elasticity, visible under the crosshair. Basic attacks generate 5 Elasticity, with the goal of reaching 100 quickly.
Mister Fantastic carries a 3-star difficulty. Not the simplest for beginners, but accessible for players to master.
When activated, Mister Fantastic morphs into a rectangular form, retaining mobility while absorbing incoming damage. Upon ending, he unleashes stored damage toward the reticle’s target.
This ability grants a shield, boosting 350 health to 425. Mister Fantastic pulls toward a target, damaging enemies or shielding allies. With two charges, players can use it again before cooldown or to max out the passive.
Extended Grasp offers versatility. Mister Fantastic stretches to seize a target, with three options. Dash pulls him toward the target without a shield. Impact, despite no projectiles, avoids grouping him with melee-focused heroes like Wolverine. His stretchy limbs provide range.
Using Impact on a grappled enemy pulls them toward him, dealing extra damage. If another enemy is in view, he can grapple both, slamming them together for dual damage.
Available with Invisible Woman on the team, this ability heals Mister Fantastic’s lost health without granting shields, keeping his base at 350. It boosts survivability between shield uses. Invisible Woman, a key Strategist, pairs well with Fantastic Four allies.
Each ability use builds Elasticity, enhancing damage. At maximum, Mister Fantastic transforms, gaining massive damage and a shield. The shield decays before reverting, but some persists. No other abilities are available in this state, pushing players to maximize damage. Inactivity causes Elasticity decay.
Mister Fantastic leaps and crashes, damaging within a marked area, repeating multiple times. It’s devastating against grouped enemies defending a point. Unlike some complex ultimates, this one is straightforward.
As a duelist, Mister Fantastic is surprisingly durable, leveraging damage mitigation and frequent shields, plus a passive granting substantial shielding.
Combine Stretch Reach with Adaptive Rubber. Using them sequentially shields both player and ally, allowing Mister Fantastic to tank threats and unleash stored damage, overwhelming less-experienced foes.
Adaptive Rubber accelerates Resilient Power’s activation. Using it without needing passive buildup maximizes inflated state time, boosting objective presence and team damage. Shields stack, so combining with two Stretch Reach uses can push health to 950, rivaling the game’s tankiest heroes.
