Monopoly Unveils Valentine

With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have rolled out an exciting update for Monopoly on Android and iOS. Dive into a festive celebration of love with a range of limited-time content that will enhance your favorite digital board game experience.

Monopoly's Valentine's Day event introduces a fun quiz that matches you with one of four tokens, each symbolizing a different type of love. After taking the quiz, you can enjoy a 24-hour free trial of your matched token. If you decide to keep it, the token will be available at a discounted price post-trial.

Additionally, the event features a revamped House Rules mode that speeds up the gameplay. With options like Quick Hotels, where you can build hotels after just three houses instead of four, and Quick End, which concludes the game after the first bankruptcy, the pace is noticeably brisker. Quick Jail lets you exit jail on your first turn, and Starting Title Deeds gifts everyone three random properties at the start, bypassing tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces for a streamlined experience.

To add to the festivities, new Cupid-inspired tokens are up for grabs, and the Sweethearts bundle introduces two cherub tokens perfect for the occasion.

Radu Rovin, Head of Studio at Marmalade Game Studio, shared his thoughts on the update, stating, *"We wanted to put together an event that showcases different types of love this Valentine’s Day. From friendships forged across the Monopoly board to a little self-care day playing your favourite game, we’re helping our players celebrate it all."*
