Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1: March 2025 Reveals

Apr 23,2025 Author: George

Capcom recently unveiled exciting details about the upcoming Title Update 1 for *Monster Hunter Wilds* at their dedicated showcase. Slated for release on April 4, 2025, this free update promises to enhance the game with new features, formidable monsters, and a variety of cosmetic DLC, both free and paid. Players can look forward to a revamped social hub, fresh armor sets, and engaging new activities. Let us know which part of this update excites you the most in the comments below!

PlayA New Hub For Hunters ---------------------

The showcase kicked off with a sneak peek at the new endgame hub for hunting parties, aptly named the Grand Hub. This hub offers a multitude of new activities to enjoy, from communal feasting and arm wrestling to listening to the Diva's nightly performances. Additionally, a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game awaits, where players can earn vouchers and rewards through various in-game activities. To unlock the Grand Hub, reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak to Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.

Mizutsune Arrives

A highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the bubbly monster Mizutsune. Known for its swift tail strikes and powerful water jets, Mizutsune promises an exhilarating challenge. Once you hit HR 21, head to the Scarlet Forest and talk to Kanya to start the quest. Successful hunts will reward you with materials for new gear.

Additional Hunts on the Way

The update also introduces a new Event Quest featuring Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a formidable foe that surpasses the usual Tempered fights. Accessible at HR 50, this quest offers new armor for those who triumph. Additionally, players can re-engage with Zoh Shia through new quests after reaching HR 50, allowing them to craft unique armor from the encounter.

Arena Quests

Speedrun enthusiasts will appreciate the new Arena Quests, designed for competitive play. Both Challenge and Free Challenge Quests are available, with pendants awarded for participation and achievements. Access these quests via the counter in the new Grand Hub.

Change Alma's Outfit

The dedicated handler Alma is getting a fashionable upgrade. Players can now customize Alma's appearance through a new menu in camp, with one outfit available for free. Complete a specific side mission to unlock additional options, including changing Alma's glasses.

More DLC is on the way

Alongside Title Update 1, a mix of free and paid DLC will be released. Classic gestures from previous Monster Hunter titles will be available for free, while the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1, accessible through the store or via the Cosmetic DLC Pass and Premium Deluxe Edition, offers additional cosmetic options. New stickers and outfits for Alma are also on the horizon.

More Event Quests and Seasonal Events

Further Event Quests and Seasonal Events are planned, enhancing the game's dynamic content. Seasonal Events, such as the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance starting on April 23, will transform the Grand Hub with pink cherry blossoms and introduce new decor and limited-time items. Capcom has confirmed that most previous events and quests will return in the future.

The Roadmap Ahead

Here's a look at the rollout plan for Title Update 1 and its related content. U.S. players will see the update on April 3, followed by the Blossomdance event on April 22. The challenging Arch-tempered Rey Dau arrives on April 29, with other features and a Capcom collaboration debuting by the end of May.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2

The showcase concluded with a glimpse of Title Update 2, slated for a summer release. While no specific date was provided, a teaser image hinted at the return of the fan-favorite underwater leviathan, Lagiacrus, set to wreak havoc on the surface.

Monster Hunter Wilds has enjoyed a successful launch, and with Title Update 1, Capcom aims to set a robust pace for future content.
