As part of NieR's 15th Anniversary celebration, Square Enix made several exciting announcements during the April 19 livestream. One highlight was the introduction of the NieR's online Special Novel titled [U]ndecided Option. This novel will feature a total of three updates, with the first one already accessible. The subsequent updates are scheduled for April 25 and May 2. The novel's intriguing premise involves a 'servant' encountering a mysterious boy, setting the stage for an engaging narrative.
To accompany this announcement, Square Enix launched a dedicated NieR 15th Anniversary website, serving as the central hub for the online special novel and other upcoming projects and events related to the anniversary celebration.
Square Enix is set to host an exhibition at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Japan, showcasing new artwork featuring protagonists from Replicant, Automata, and Re[in]carnation. Details about tickets and additional information will be released soon.
Music lovers can look forward to additional performances at the NieR: Orchestra Concert 12024, scheduled in Osaka on July 25 and 26, and in Tokyo on August 2 and 3. Tickets are available through a lottery system, with more information accessible on the concert's official website.
The celebration extends to a variety of merchandise, including a new album with jazz arrangements from NieR: Dinner Show – Somethin’ or Other 12024, slated for release in December 2024.
