Get ready for the Pokémon Go Bug Out event, running from March 26th to 30th! This exciting event features the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch, alongside a surge of Bug-type Pokémon. Prepare for wild encounters, challenging raids, boosted bonuses, and brand-new tasks.
Lure Modules are key this time around. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but using multiple Lure Modules at a PokéStop will significantly increase the number of Pokémon appearing. You'll also enjoy 2x XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with increased Candy XL chances for Trainers level 31 and above. Shiny hunters rejoice! Your chances of finding Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are boosted.
Expect a flurry of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, including Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and potentially even a rare Cutiefly sighting.
Raids will feature Sizzlipede in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor dominate three-star raids. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks for Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with featured Pokémon.

A free Timed Research offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a Lure Module. For even more rewards, a paid Timed Research ($2 or local equivalent) provides encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, along with two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module.
New Collection Challenges await, rewarding Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters. PokéStop Showcases will highlight event Pokémon. Don't forget to snag the new Sizzlipede Boots and Scolipede Jacket from the in-game shop!
