Project NET, a thrilling third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, has opened pre-registration and a limited beta test! Learn how to participate and discover more about this exciting new addition to the Girls’ Frontline universe.

Project NET: Pre-Registration and Shock Point Test Now Open

The highly anticipated mobile shooter, Project NET, is now accepting pre-registrations! Announced on March 3, 2025, via the official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account, pre-registration is simple. Visit the official SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll just need to provide your email address and select your preferred device (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also open on the official Russian (RU) website.

Shock Point Test: Philippines Only (Android)

Project NET is also conducting a limited beta test, the "Shock Point Test," starting March 4, 2025. Registration is open, but currently limited to players in the Philippines using Android devices. This non-monetized test is limited access, and all data will be deleted upon completion. A similar test is also planned for the Russian region; details are available on the RU website. The developers are working towards a global launch.

Here's the official schedule for SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration:

Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24, 2025 and March 26, 2025. Further qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period (dates to be announced).

Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Successor?

Project NET, a GFL2 Third Person Shooter Spinoff, Opens Pre-Registrations

First announced on December 27, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its initial localized test in SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9, 2025 to January 16, 2025.

Building on the success of the original Girls’ Frontline (a popular strategy RPG gacha game launched in 2016), and its recent sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5, 2024), Project NET promises familiar characters and aesthetics within a new, action-packed third-person shooter format. Fans of the franchise are in for a treat!

While no official release date has been announced, Project NET is currently planned for iOS and Android, based on the devices used in the initial test.
