MP1st has uncovered intriguing details about a rumored The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake, details originating not from industry insiders, but from the portfolio of an anonymous former Virtuos Studios developer. This remake, reportedly built using Unreal Engine 5, promises a significant departure from the original.
The portfolio suggests a complete reimagining of Oblivion, with overhauled mechanics across the board. Expect substantial changes to stamina management, stealth, attack blocking (drawing inspiration from Soulslike games to address the original's perceived shortcomings), archery, damage reactions, and the user interface.
