Most significantly, Griffin confirmed "Yes the game is real, progressing and will release," marking the first official development update in approximately eighteen months.

Originally announced in February 2019 with a planned June 2023 release window, Team Cherry postponed Silksong's launch citing expanded scope and polish requirements.
