Saber Interactive has confirmed that all previously announced games remain in development, despite prolonged silence around high-profile projects like the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake.
Following the reveal of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits took to social media to reassure fans about the studio's active projects.
"As one of the world's largest independent developers, Saber Interactive works across multiple game genres," Willits stated. "Every announced title remains in active development. We'll share updates when we have exciting news to reveal."

The KOTOR remake remains the most notable project referenced in Willits' statement. Since its 2021 announcement, this highly anticipated remake has changed development teams, reportedly paused and restarted production, yet remains unseen after four years.
In April 2024, Saber CEO Matthew Karch confirmed the studio retained KOTOR development rights following its separation from Embracer Group, stating the project was progressing.
"Our involvement remains absolutely clear," Karch said. "While we can't share specifics yet, the game continues development with our commitment to delivering beyond fan expectations."
Willits' latest statement reinforces Karch's earlier assurance. However, the project has yet to show any gameplay footage beyond the initial teaser trailer.
Saber's upcoming portfolio also includes John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park: Survival (both targeting 2025 releases), plus new installments in the Turok and Avatar: The Last Airbender franchises.
