Prismatic Shard Locations

Prismatic Shard Locations

While finding a Prismatic Shard requires a bit of luck, knowing where to look significantly increases your chances. Here are the key locations:
  • Mines: After reaching the bottom of the Mines, all monsters have a 0.05% chance of dropping one.
  • Fish Ponds: A 0.09% chance exists within the chum bucket of a Fish Pond containing at least nine Rainbow Trout (Rainbow Trout).
  • Skull Cavern: Serpents and Mummies have a 0.1% chance, while Wilderness and Iridium Golems (after reaching Combat Level 10) also offer this slim possibility.
  • Geodes and Mystery Boxes: A 0.4% chance exists within Omni Geodes (Omni Geode) and Mystery Boxes (Mystery Box). Golden Mystery Boxes (Golden Mystery Box) offer a higher 0.79% chance.
  • Iridium Nodes: A 3.5% chance exists when mining Iridium Nodes in Skull Cavern, the Volcano Dungeon, or the Quarry.
  • Treasure Chests (Skull Cavern): Approximately a 3.8% chance awaits within these chests.
  • Mystic Nodes: A much higher 25% chance is found within Mystic Nodes (Mystic Node) located in Skull Cavern, the Quarry, or Mines (levels 100+).
  • Meteorites: A 25% chance exists when a meteorite lands on your farm.
  • Volcano Dungeon: One is guaranteed in a chest upon your first completion of the Volcano Dungeon.
  • Desert Festival: Emily (Emily) may sell one for 500 Calico Eggs (Calico Egg) at her Desert Festival stall.

The most reliable method involves the Statue of True Perfection (Statue of True Perfection), yielding one shard daily after achieving 100% perfection. However, reaching this milestone is challenging.
