"Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.: A Guide"

Apr 17,2025 Author: Liam

Dive into the thrilling world of *R.E.P.O.*, the cooperative horror game that challenges up to six players to navigate through diverse maps, retrieve valuables, and make it out unscathed. But what happens if you don't save your game properly? Here's everything you need to know to ensure your hard work in *R.E.P.O.* isn't lost.

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

We've all been there—eagerly booting up our game, only to find our latest progress mysteriously vanished. This can be particularly frustrating with new titles like *R.E.P.O.*, where the saving mechanics might not be as clear as we'd hope. Here's the crucial thing to remember: *R.E.P.O.* does not have a manual save feature. You must complete the level you're on for the game to autosave.

If you quit during a retrieval mission or die, sending you to the Disposal Arena, your progress won't be saved. Death in *R.E.P.O.* means your save file is deleted, and exiting mid-level forces you to restart from the beginning of that level.

To save your game successfully, you need to complete the level, take your valuables to the Extraction Point, and then enter the truck. Once inside, hold the message button above your head to signal the Taxman that it's time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop or prepare for the next level. Use the same button to signal your readiness to move on.

After leaving the Service Station and arriving at your next location, you can safely exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if another player created the save file) next opens *R.E.P.O.*, your progress will be intact. Remember, the host is responsible for exiting at the right time to ensure proper saving. Once the host quits, all players are logged out.
