OBD2 Diagnostics - Read and Clear Fault Codes with Real-Time Sensor Data Access

Is your Check Engine Light (MIL) on? Turn your mobile device into a professional-grade car scanner with Piston to read Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and Freeze Frame data related to the issue. This helps you accurately identify and resolve problems.

Simply connect a Bluetooth or WiFi ELM327-based adapter to your vehicle's OBD2 port. Piston walks you through the connection process step by step. Access setup instructions from the Home page after initial installation or through Settings at any time.

With Piston you can:

To function as a car scanner, this application requires a separate Bluetooth or WiFi ELM327-compatible device. Piston supports OBD-II (also known as OBDII or OBD2) and EOBD standards.

All vehicles sold in the United States since 1996 must support OBD2 standards.

In the European Union, EOBD became mandatory for petrol vehicles from 2001 and diesel vehicles from 2004. Australia and New Zealand require OBD2 compliance for petrol cars manufactured from 2006 and diesel cars from 2007.

Note: This application can only access data that your vehicle supports and provides through the OBD2 standard.
