Application Description

Chosen by the gods yet betrayed by your king, only you can halt the Scorpion's reign.

Marked by divine will and cast out by your sovereign, you must stand against the Scorpion!

"Pon Para and the Unconquerable Scorpion" is a 742,000-word interactive fantasy novel by Kyle Marquis, serving as the sequel to "Pon Para and the Great Southern Labyrinth."

You command the narrative through your choices. This experience is purely text-based—relying not on graphics or sound, but on the boundless force of your own imagination.

The philosopher-witch Teijia has unleashed a terrifying new weapon: a scorpion-god whose venom corrupts reality itself. As the world's edges crumble, the nomadic Stormraiders mount a final, desperate assault to overthrow the Three Nations and claim a kingdom of their own.

This time, the sign of your god and a handful of allies will not suffice. To end the war and avert global annihilation, you must raise an army! Forge your path as a warlord, crime lord, or divine prophet. Traverse oceans and deserts to discover the one weapon capable of stopping the Unconquerable Scorpion.

Old Friends and Foes Return. Rekindle friendships, rivalries, or romances with Melaxu the nymph philosopher and Tamur the Desert Empire spy. But stay vigilant: the Stormraiders Galimar and Gisla have also returned. What will your own rulers, King Hyras and the Desert Empress, demand of you now?

New Heroes, New Perils. Recruit Col the satyr general and his young ward Clannath, a crow-woman cursed by the God of Rage. Seize territory across two nations and plot to safeguard your followers. Yet beware the schemes of the dark priests… and the priests of Heaven, who still brand you a heretic and an enemy of the gods.

The End of Philosophy? As King Hyras and Lord Vankred clash to decide the Stormraider War, the witch Teijia deploys her ultimate weapon: the Emissary Beast Magdala, the Unconquerable Scorpion. Its venom can dismantle the very engines that sustain the World That Remains. What can possibly halt a creature forged by the gods to be unstoppable?
