Pop Gun: Brick Breaker tells the story of Pete.

Pete is a researcher dedicated to studying parallel worlds.

One day, he and his team succeeded in opening a strange portal. From it, terrifying creatures emerged. They managed to fight off the creatures, but sealing the portal proved impossible.

For this, Pete was sentenced to life imprisonment, shackled at the bottom of a deep well. Soon, more portals began tearing open across the world. Horrific creatures poured out, corrupting the inhabitants into monsters. The world teetered on the brink of annihilation.

Tormented by guilt, Pete longed to make things right but was powerless. He sat in solitary darkness for 10,000 years, with no one to hear his thoughts.

Then, a ball of light named Sophie descended from the world above into his well. All of Pete's accumulated guilt transformed into a profound sense of responsibility for this mysterious Light. In her, he found not just a companion, but his greatest purpose.

Pop Gun: Brick Breaker is an arkanoid-style game. Sophie and Pete form the perfect, interdependent team. Pete can only move within Sophie's light, and Sophie knows only Pete can seal the portals. Pete is a wizard-scientist; with Sophie's aid, he breaks bricks and defeats monsters.

Breaking free from his chains, Pete rises into Sophie's light to finally close the portals and save the world from destruction. He must shatter the portal gates that summon Monster Bosses and break through bricks to progress in the arkanoid adventure of Pop Gun: Brick Breaker.

This new Pete remembers everything up to his body's severance, but not his countless past attempts to close the portals. He does recall his magical skills for breaking bricks. With this power, you must not fail, or you'll have to start over from the beginning!
