Use this intuitive app to efficiently create and submit catch records for all English and Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) flag vessels that operate within UK waters. Designed to streamline the process, this tool is essential for ensuring compliance and aiding in the sustainable management of fishing levels by UK fishing authorities.

All U10m flag vessels are required to meticulously record their catch. This crucial data helps UK fishing authorities manage fishing levels in a sustainable manner, ensuring the long-term health of marine ecosystems.

You can utilize this service if you are a:

• Registered vessel owner
• Skipper

If you are a registered vessel owner, you will receive an invite email. The timing of this email depends on your vessel size. You have one calendar month from the receipt of the email to register and begin using the service.

If you are a skipper, please contact the owner of the vessel to obtain an invite.

Please note, if you are a member of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should not use the online record your catch service. Instead, continue to record your catch using a paper logbook.

This service effectively replaces the following:

• The NEP1 form
• The MSAR1 form, although depending on your location, local IFCAs may require additional information
• The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in 2 ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
