Thunee is a popular trick-taking card game that originated in South Africa.

Originating from the Tamil word for water, Thunee is a widely enjoyed trick-taking card game that began in Durban, South Africa. The game evolved from 304, a card game popular in India and Sri Lanka.

You can play in Single Player or Multiplayer mode. Either way, you'll experience the best Thunee gaming simulation in an app, closely mimicking the real game.

Note: For optimal gameplay and to upload/update win scores, an internet connection is required.

In multiplayer mode, you can invite someone as your partner or challenge them directly. Easily invite others using WhatsApp push notifications. Game results and statistics with friends are stored and displayed on the stats page—perfect for boasting about who's the best player in your group.

Easy difficulty helps beginners learn the game with in-play assistance and narration.

This app is highly customizable via settings, allowing you to tailor gameplay to your preferred style. Adjust options such as:

Choose between Hard, Medium, or Easy difficulty

Enable score assistance for Medium & Easy. View trick/hand values as they finish and real-time scores.

Select when to be prompted to bid—always, or only with 3+ cards of the same suit or a J9.

Offer early win/loss if you or opponents exceed the required score (enabled by default).

Allow early victory claims, including Double and Khanuck claims.

Set the duration to clear a trick, or click to clear manually. Note: you can click to clear before the timer ends (default is 1 second).

Includes vocal sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, and more.

Customize the game's look by changing the background (or pick your own color with vignette) and card packs.

Option to include Royals—where Thunee card values are reversed (Queens become Jacks, Kings become Nines, etc.).
